Our Challenges

There are lots of challenges that everyone has to meet while moving up the stairs of success and hard work. For YES, too the journey is not easy enough. However YES is moving ahead with flying colors coping with every challenge.

  • To maintain the commitment in the members of YES. To keep them motivating so that they do not lose confidence in them and work harder with full encouragement.
  • YES has a strength of 150-200 members. To make them all do work and give their best is a difficult job. Another challenge is to make people join our organization and work dedicatedly.
  • In our society the image of NGOs is very negative. People think that NGOs take money in name of donation and do not forward that money to the needful. One of the biggest challenge is to break this myth for our NGO, develop a trust for YES in peoples’ heart and a belief in our conduct.
  • To bring funds as every organization, to run, needs funds. As students the members are not financially sound enough to support the entire functioning of YES-be it slum education, cultural activities, events n programmes etc.
  • When someone has confidence in himself and wants to grow nobody supports him at that time. For instance Virender Kumar when started did not get any support from the government, similarly Abhinav Bindra was helped by his father who spent almost 6 crs for him and when they finally succeeded and brought medals to the country , there everyone for them-government, sponsors etc.  when youngsters like the members of YES work for a uncommon trade, social work, many times our guardians & relatives do not agree with us. At such time when we do not get much support from our surrounding the biggest challenge creeps in—to bring ten hands together , make a family out of them and move forward for a social cause, that too without any disputes and ego hassles. Maintaining the unity, maintaining a team is the biggest challenge, so far, faced by Young Energetic Society.
